"Pilates develops the body uniformly , corrects wrong postures, restores physical

vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit." Joseph Pilates

Pilates training focuses on core strength, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore

the body to balance. Based on anatomical understanding of the body's muscular and

skeletal systems and focuses on specific areas using exercises that integrate the whole

body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function.

It's unique holistic approach sets Pilates aside from many other forms of exercise.

Osteopaths, physiotherapists and general practitioners recommend Pilates as one of the

safest forms of exercise today. Pilates can be beneficial for just about everyone,

regardless of age and fitness level.

The Pilates method has always emphasized quality over quantity, and you will find that,

unlike many systems of exercise, Pilates exercises do not include a lot of repetitions for

each move. Instead, doing each exercise fully, with precision, yields significant results in

a shorter time than one would ever imagine.
